Comic book conventions have never been more popular and at the end of this month London is welcoming the MCM Comic Con to the Royal Victoria Dock.
You will have the opportunity to meet and greet some of your favourite stars including Hollywood A lister Jesse Eisenberg, The Big Bang Theory stars Kunal Nayyar and Melissa Rauch (Raj and Bernadette), Elizabeth Henstridge, Willa Holland, Warwick Davis and more.
There will also be a number of dealer stalls giving fans the opportunity to pick up comic books, clothing, film merchandise and more.
One of the big attractions for visitors will be the opportunity to see or take part in the Cosplay Masquerade, letting fans become their hero’s and enjoy some of the glory that comes with it.

The event held at London’s ExCel on the banks of the River Thames will also be holding a part on the Saturday night featuring Japanese pop star Amatsuki, Band-Maid and DJ Shenny. A party not to be missed with guests encouraged to dress up.

First of all there is Soho’s Gosh! With a 25 year track record and an incredible collection of graphic novels to work your way through you could end up spending some serious time and money in here.
Close to Leicester Square station you will find Orbital Comics which has been around since 2002 and regularly runs great events that are well worth keeping your eye out for.
If you find yourself in Camden Town you will want to look up Mega City Comics which has been around since the 80’s. Another great shop in a wonderful part of London that is a must for any visitor.
If you are completely new to London you will want to look into what options are available to you in regards to public transport. The tube, bus system and regular train lines are a great way to get about and you can save a lot of money by working out which travel zones you will most likely be visiting. Don’t rule out walking to and from the event as you are always likely to come across some great shops and landmarks.
